Heat the oil in a small saucepan on medium, and saute the onions and garlic until the onions turn translucent or for 2 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until the liquid reduces by half. This will take about 10 minutes.
