Now that I got your attention, the answer to the question is… A LOT!
Let me explain.
You may know the book, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus but did you know that when it comes to health, this phrase is not too far from the truth? In other words, when it comes to gender differences, even the way we exhibit signs and symptoms for certain ailments are different. Aside from gender specific ailments, there are stark differences for some of the most common ailments between the two sexes.
I discuss these differences at The Mogul Mom where I am the “Health and Wellness” Editor.
What’s The Mogul Mom? It’s a popular women’s business website that I’ve loved for awhile and I was thrilled to be asked to fill this newly created position for me. As you might have guessed, women can be neglectful when it comes to our own health since we tend to ignore our own symptoms before taking care of the family.
So I was happy to accept this role to inform women about health and wellness, especially, business women who can easily lose track when it comes to their own health and well being. Being a mom is busy enough but when you are entrepreneurs, moms can easily put their own health in the back burners even more. I hope you’ll stop by often to check out the website. There will be something for everyone, not just business related info.
And as a first article for The Mogul Mom, I thought it would be fitting to discuss women’s health so I wrote about the differences between women and men for health problems like, heart attack, angina, Alzheimer’s and others.
So go to The Mogul Mom’s post today and check out how women’s symptoms differ from men and when you should contact your health practitioner. If you are a man, share the info with your wife, mother, or sister. It can save her life.
